Here is today's call sheet & risk assessment:

Now, moving along to today, starting at 8am, we began our first shoot day at The Claddagh Ring pub in Hendon. Moushall and Southall coming at 8:30. Then, 8:30-9:00 was setup, getting out and positioning lights & camera as well as prepping the boom mic, and our director having rehearsals with the actors. 9:00-10:00 was the first half of our shoot, where we focused on the more cumbersome scene of an OTS shot from Emily (Southall) at Jenna (Moushall), discussing their state, with a small bit of panning when Jenna gets up, says her goodbye, and then departs, the camera resting on an MS of Emily. This was a pain, as today, we were without our proper camera operator and boom operator due to personal affairs, so I performed the camera role while Claudia did booming, and we kept on doing take after take, given that, as well as panning to a satisfactory degree, I also had to refocus ever time she moved, which, despite careful instruction, was no the easiest thing to accomplish. After. from 10:00-10:30, we had a tea break, resuming filming between 10:30 -12:00, filming the OTS this time from Jenna's shoulder, and then finally, some closeups on the girls, as well as their drinks. Done, 12:00-12:30 was pack up time, and then we departed, returning equipment back to the University loan store.

Today's shoot, considering it was the first day, didn't go too badly actually; barring the hiccup of not having our cameraman nor our boom op, we still managed to cope, and it was doubly hand that our actresses were very well behaved, as well as quite friendly. Katarina also did well, keeping her cool while also being concise and clear with what she wanted in each shot. Based on his, I feel secure in the knowledge that my judgement was not off.
